Picture yourself in front of a blank page, the cursor blinking relentlessly, taunting you with its pristine blankness as the minutes slip away and the pressure mounts. The initial battle to pen those first few words is a familiar struggle many of us, whether students or professionals, have faced. This often leads to a cycle of frustration and avoidance. Procrastination in writing is a complex issue influenced by various psychological, environmental, and personal factors.

Psychological factors such as fear of failure, perfectionism, and lack of motivation significantly contribute to writing challenges. Fear of failure can paralyze individuals, discouraging them from risk-taking or opportunity-seeking, which could lead to significant growth and success (Kuswandono 2–3). This fear often arises from past experiences or societal pressures, creating a mental barrier that is difficult, if not impossible, to overcome.
